FAQs

What services are available?

I work with adults from all backgrounds who are wondering about their career and how to develop it, who would like support in their job search, or who find themselves in need of rehabilitation and career reorientation.

  • Counseling or career development (job dissatisfaction, lack of motivation, questions);
  • Career reorientation (I want to change... but what and how?);
  • Rehabilitation or professional reintegration (I have to change my profession/occupation/job due to an event);
  • Job search (interview preparation, updating job search tools, - Resume, etc.);
  • Etc.

Who are these services for?

Adults of all origins or with all types of realities (e.g. neuroatypical people, LGBTQ+ people, racialized people, people with mental health problems, etc.).

What does a career counseling process involve?

A career counseling process involves an initial assessment of your needs, the establishment of a work objective and the tasks required to achieve it.

The process can vary from about 4 to 8 sessions, depending on your needs and objectives. The process generally involves reflection activities and the sharing of information on careers and professions, training courses and the job market (depending on needs). It may also include the use of psychometric tests or tools.

Psychometric tests and tools

Psychometric tools are used as one means, among others, to help you achieve the goal of your career counseling process. There are many psychometric tests and tools available, click here to learn more about the ones I offer because I'm skilled at interpreting them for you.

Where are services offered?

You have 2 choices:

1. Online services, with an easy connection link, no need to install any software. So meetings can take place from the location of your choice, as long as you're in a place where you won't be disturbed and where you can be alone, to protect your privacy.

Ideally, you'll need a computer equipped with a webcam and a working e-mail address for exchanging reflection activities (to be completed with Word or compatible free software).

2. Face-to-face services available at Clinique Rosemont (on Rosemont at the corner of D'Iberville) every Tuesday!*

* Unfortunately, their is a lot of steps to get to my office

What are the fees?

For people in career rehabilitation situations, services are covered by CNESST or IVAC.

For people who consult privately, I invite you to take a free telephone appointment with me and I will present you with my rates, which vary according to your income and financial capabilities.
